Preserved Vegetables with Pork

The Ingredients:

  • A little more than 1/2 cup of Preserved Vegetables (Brand: Tianjin Preserved Vegetable)
  • 1/2 pound grounded pork
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Corn starch
  • A little more than 1/2 tablespoon Olive Oil

Special Notes:

  • You may substitute lean pork  for the grounded pork. You will have to slice the lean pork meat into little pieces.

Directions:

  • Soak the 1/2 cup of Preserved Vegetables in Hot Water and Rinse
  • Put 1/2 pound grounded pork into metal plate
  • Add the 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon corn starch and 1 teaspoon soy sauce and mix everything
  • Add another 1/2 teaspoon salt on top of the meat after

  • Put the Preserved Vegetables on top of the Grounded Pork
  • Drizzle a little bit of Olive Oil on top

  • Boil water in a wok or pot with a metal steamer holder
  • After it boils, place plate on steamer holder and cover for 20 minutes, lower to medium heat
  • Taste, add salt if needed
