The Ingredients:

  • 1 Bunch of Gai Lan
  • 2 Chinese Sausages (Brand: Kam Yen Jan)
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • Salt


  • Clean and rinse the Gai Lan and chop into halves, also chop the dry ends off
  • Slice the Chinese Sausages in an angle
  • Smash the Garlic Cloves, no need to chop them into pieces

  • Heat Oil in the Pan
  • Add the smashed Garlic Cloves
  • Add the Chinese Sausages
  • Stir for a bit and wait for the Garlic Cloves and Chinese Sausages to brown a bit

  • Then add the Gai Lan
  • Sprinkle Salt and Stir
  • Stir and cook for about 8-10 minutes, you want the bottoms of the Gai Lans to be a crunchy texture, do not overcook
  • Check flavor by tasting, add salt if needed
